One of the most common concerns about Philippines Visa is whether your employment situation, freelance, self-employed, housewife, student, retired, creates extra requirements or makes the visa harder to get. Self-employed and freelancers
The e-visa form has no field for employer name, business registration, or income. Self-employed Indians apply identically to salaried employees. No GST certificate, business registration, or client contracts are needed.
Housewives and homemakers
No sponsor letter, no husband’s income proof, no household income declaration. The form does not ask about these. A homemaker applies with passport, white-background photo, travel dates, hotel address, and card for payment.
Students
No enrollment letter, college ID, or fee receipts needed. Students have been getting Philippines e-visas without issue. Occupation field in the form accepts ‘Student’.
Retired persons

Printing only one copy of the approval letter. You need it at two points: the check-in counter at the Indian airport, and Philippines immigration on arrival. Print two copies and carry both.
